Our team conducted the underlying research and authored the white paper that informed the peer-reviewed scientific publication, Towards More Tolerable Subcutaneous Administration: Review of Contributing Factors for Improving Combination Product Design. This work was done in support of the Subcutaneous Drug Delivery Consortium, a collaborative body of key stakeholders across the subcutaneous community, including industry, academia, regulatory agencies, and payers. The publication examines the comparative and interdependent factors that influence subcutaneous injection pain to help guide drug formulation, device design, and clinical practice toward improved patient experience.
