Joanne Francis has over twenty years of experience working in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Most recently, she has worked as a consultant to various pharmaceutical, biotech and investor clients in helping them with strategic business decisions.
Joanne spent over ten years in various roles at Forest Laboratories including in business development, early commercialization and strategic planning. She was the lead analyst on over fifty in-licensing product candidates annually and was responsible for conducting the valuation analysis to support due diligence efforts and subsequent negotiations of deal terms with existing and potential partners. She also was responsible for all early marketing efforts on behalf of Forest’s early stage products at that time. In addition, she has experience in determining best market entry strategies into both developed and emerging markets. She played an integral role in assessing Forest’s entry into Canada with their U.S. products and has helped several clients determine best approaches to enter emerging markets.
Prior to Forest, Joanne was a consultant at The Wilkerson Group. Joanne has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale College. Joanne is an avid tennis player and is passionate about Greek culture.
